Responsibility and suppliers

Our role

gokarvan is a booking platform. We do not own vehicles or employ drivers. We collect prices from a network of more than 40 licensed transfer operators across Türkiye and sell the resulting fixed-price transfers on gokarvan.com and through partner agencies.

When you book, we:

• take your payment and issue your voucher and invoice;
• pass your booking to the licensed operator best placed to run it;
• assign a named operations contact who is reachable on WhatsApp before and during your transfer;
• handle changes, cancellations and refunds under our policies.

The operator:

• provides the vehicle, the licensed driver and the required insurance;
• performs the journey and is responsible for its safety and punctuality.

What this means for you

• Your voucher shows gokarvan and your operations contact. The vehicle may carry the operator's own branding.
• If something goes wrong during the transfer, contact your operations contact first; we coordinate with the operator on your behalf.
• We remain responsible to you for the booking service and for refunds under our cancellation policy. Claims relating to the carriage itself (for example an accident) are directed to the operator and its insurer; we will provide the operator's details and assist you.

Supplier standards

Operators in our network hold the licences required for passenger transport in Türkiye, maintain vehicle insurance, and agree to our meeting-point, waiting-time and driver-conduct standards. Operators that fall short are removed.
